This course teaches blueprint reading for novice level employees. This course covers basic math, types of drawings, Glass Box, Multiview drawings, orthographic projection, line types – their applications and precedence, dimensioning and tolerancing, title blocks, materials, drawing change systems, section views, auxiliary views, detail views, assembly drawing, sketching, and isometrics.
Learning Outcomes:
Students will understand the different types of drawings,
line types, Multiview drawings, information in the title blocks, some ANSI
standards for drawings, drawing revisions, dimensions, tolerances, assembly
drawings, and how to sketch Isometric pictorials.
