BOWLING GREEN, KY--Applications to participate in the 2013 Leadership Bowling Green program are now available. Click here to access the application.
One of the Chamber's most popular programs, Leadership Bowling Green is an eight-month leadership development program. From applications submitted, 25 to 32 individuals are chosen each year to participate in Leadership Bowling Green. During the nine sessions, the class studies the community's strengths and challenges through lectures, discussions, tours and role-playing activities. The goal is to gain a wide knowledge about Bowling Green through an overview of a variety of community functions.
The program begins with an orientation on March 9, followed by a retreat on April 4 and 5, and concludes with a retreat on November 7 and 8. In between the two retreats are seven day-long sessions. A graduation ceremony will be held on November 21, 2013. View the 2013 schedule here.
All materials, meals, and lodging are included in the tuition fee of $1,100. All applicants must be Chamber partners through their business or at the individual level. Applicants must be a resident of Warren County or employed in Warren County.
The deadline for submission of applications is Monday, January 28, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. CST. All applications not submitted by the deadline will be immediately returned to sender and will not be considered. Individuals selected for the program will be notified of their acceptance by February 15, 2013. Applications will not be faxed or e-mailed to anyone considering submitting an application.
